Dr. Elaine Yeung, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Yeung went to medical school and completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Toronto. She subsequently did her advanced endoscopy fellowship at the University of Calgary training in both ERCP and EUS. Her past medical leadership experiences include serving as Corporate Chief of Medicine, Chief of Staff, EVP Medical Programs and Chief Medical Information Officer at Scarborough Health Network. While her clinical work takes place mainly at SHN, she also spends half a day a week attending the liver clinic at Unity Health (St. Michael's Hospital) since July 2026 and is actively collaborating with the cystic fibrosis clinic to understand liver manifestations and natural history of cystic fibrosis liver disease.
